A waiver field can be used to collect a signature from the user. It can be made mandatory according to the required data collected, but the field must be named “waiver”. The field name must be all lowercase.

Once in the signature menu, you will have a series of fields to fill in. The most important ones are:

  • Column Span: The width that the field will span. The columns ranging from 1-4 columns, with 4 columns spanning 100% of the iPad’s width. A typical waiver will be 2 columns wide.
  • Field Label Content: What the button will be labeled as.
  • Mandatory: Decide whether the form field is mandatory for the user to answer to proceed.
  • Button Background Image: to create a custom button image for the waiver field.
  • Inline Display: The waiver can be displayed in 2 different ways. 1. Inline Display: the contents of the waiver are displayed directly on the form. 2. Pop-up Window: A button is placed on the form. When the user taps the button, a pop-up window will display the waiver contents and give the user and a witness the ability to sign the release.
  • Button Background Colour: If the Button Background Image is not selected, a background colour is available. The colours must be inputted in HEX Code format.
  • HTML Content: You may add your waiver contents into the Text Field provided. Basic text capabilities include bold, italics, underline and preferred font.
