Sunsetting, in a business context, is intentionally phasing something out or terminating it. The term is often used in reference to the process of closing your website once registration or an event has been completed. There are 3 options for sunsetting a website:
- Adding sunset copy
- Adding a CTA to link to a parent site
- Closing the website completely
