The Limelight text editor allows you to update copy and customize to suit your needs. Stylize your content using our easy-to-use editor panels.


Add, Edit & Stylize Text

Text can be added in a variety of colours, fonts, and sizes. Use the following steps to edit your copy:

  1. From the Canvas, click the pencil icon to edit the page you would like to update.
  2. Click the text area you would like to edit on the right side display to open the left side editor panel. Alternatively, you can select the section directly from the list on the left side panel to open up its editor.;
  3. Type directly into the editor panel to add or edit text.
  4. Stylize your text by highlighting the copy and selecting from the variety of options listed above.
    Please Note: our font list contains standard web fonts. Please chat with your Project Manager if your brand requires implementation of a custom font.
  5. Click Save to save your content. You will need to Publish your content from your Global Settings page in order to see your changes made live.


Add Images

  1. From the Canvas, click the pencil icon to edit the page you would like to update.
  2. Click on the image within the right side display to open the editor panel on the left side. Alternatively, you can select the section directly from the list on the left side panel to open up its editor.
  3. From the left side editor panel, click on the image icon/area to open up the image library. You an select from any assets already listed in your image library or upload a new image from your desktop by clicking +Add Files at the top right of the popup window.
  4. Once you've selected your image of choice, click the Use This Image button to place your content.
  5. Make sure to Save and Publish to see your changes made live.


Hyperlink Text

Adding links to copy is easy. Follow these steps to insert a URL:

  1. Click on the text area within the right side display to open the editor panel on the left side. Alternatively, you can select the section directly from the list on the left side panel to open up its editor.
  2. Highlight the word(s) that you want to hyperlink from the editor panel and click the link icon from the styling options above.
  3. A popup window will appear where you can add a URL.
  4. Click the OK button to place the URL into your content.
  5. Make sure to Save and Publish to see your changes made live.
